Immunoglobulin Type: Polyclonal Rabbit IgG.
Specificity: Prepared against synthetic peptide corresponding to a distinct C terminal region, (FEKAKLGPAGNKVISPEDRKQ residues 305-325) from human protein kinase Ca. Based on known homologies, it is expected to react with the PKC ortholog in most mammalian species.
Applications: Intended for use in Western blots, ELISA, and/or Immunohistochemical techniques. It has also been reported to be useful for immunoprecipitation of PKCa.
Recommended Dilutions: For Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting using alkaline phosphatase or horseradish peroxidase, a dilution of 1:250 is recommended. With a more sensitive detection system, such as enhanced chemiluminescence or ELISA, the antibody may be diluted further.
Contents (per vial): 100 µL of rabbit antiserum containing 0.05% sodium azide.
Storage: Stable for several months at 4°C, up to a year at -20°C, and indefinitely at -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze thaws.
