ARPE-19 Eye Epithelium Expressing JRed

A bright red fluorescent cell line has been established by stable transfection of ARPE-19 human retinal pigmented epithelium cells with a plasmid coding for JRed. ARPE-19, a spontaneously arising human RPE cell line can form polarized epithelial monolayers and is a valuable model for epithelial cells.
