Specificity: Prepared against synthetic peptide corresponding to a distinct C terminal region, (SFVNSEFLKPEVKS resides 660-673) from rat protein kinase CbII based on known homologies is expected to react with most mammalian species.
Applications: Intended for use in Western blots, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemical techniques for fresh or frozen sections, paraffin embedded or fixed tissues have not been tested.
Recommended dilutions: For Immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry and Western blotting using alkaline phosphatase or horseradish peroxidase, a dilution of 1:250 is recommended. With a more sensitive detection system, such as enhanced chemiluminescence or ELISA, the antibody may be diluted further.
Contents: 100 µL of rabbit antiserum containing 0.05% sodium azide.
Storage: Stable for several months at 4°C, up to a year at -20°C, and indefinitely at -80° C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
