RTS DnaK Supplement

The RTS DnaK Supplement includes DnaK (heat shock protein 70, hsp 70), one of the key chaperone systems in E. coli, in combination with DnaJ (hsp 40) and GrpE. The RTS DnaK Supplement can be used to increase the amount of correctly folded and/or soluble proteins expressed in the RTS. DnaK can be used with proteins of any size and serves as an aggregation inhibitor that binds unfolded protein or transfers the protein to other chaperones, such as the GroE or the Hsp90 systems. The RTS DnaK Supplement can be used with the RTS E. coli HY platform.
