Barramundi IGF-I antiserum was prepared by immunising rabbits with recombinant barramundi IGF-I. It has 100% cross-reactivity with barramundi IGF-I and other species of fish when determined by immunoassay. It can be used as a ubiquitous antiserum for the determination of plasma or serum IGF-I in a range of fish species.
