Rat IGF-I antiserum was prepared by immunising rabbits with rat IGF-I. It cross-reacts 100% with rat and mouse IGF-I. Cross-reactivity to human and chicken IGF-I is < 0.5%. It does not recognise IGF-II from any species. This antiserum can be used for the analysis of rat/mouse IGF-I by immunoassay, for Western ligand blotting and for immunohistochemistry in rat and mouse tissue.
