Human IGF type 1 receptor antibody 16-13 is a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG2b) that recognizes an epitope within amino acids 62–184 of the α-chain (extracellular domain) of the human IGF type 1 receptor. It was developed by immunizing mice with 3T3 cells overexpressing the human IGF type 1 receptor and does not cross-react with the human or rat insulin receptor, or the rat IGF type 1 receptor. Human IGF type 1 receptor antibody 16-13 is a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG2b) which recognizes an epitope within amino acids 62-184 of the extracellular domain (α-chain) of the human IGF type 1 receptor. The antibody was prepared by immunising mice with a preparation of 3T3 cells which over-express the IGF type 1 receptor. The antibody cross reacts with the human IGF type 1 receptor but not the human or rat insulin receptor or the rat IGF type 1 receptor
