Shows 100% reactivity with rat GH, with no cross-reactivity to human GH or GH from fish species. Suitable for immunoassay, blotting, and histochemistry. Rat Growth Hormone antibody was prepared by immunising rabbits with recombinant rat growth hormone (GH). The antiserum was harvested and the IgG fraction was purified by affinity chromatography. It has 100% cross-reactivity with rat GH but does not recognise human GH or GH derived from fish species.
