Rabbit polyclonal antibody to IGF-II, raised against human IGF-II conjugated to ovalbumin and purified by Protein A chromatography. Cross-reacts fully with human and porcine IGF-II, and strongly with chicken, rat, and bovine IGF-II. Shows <0.1% cross-reactivity to IGF-I and none to insulin. Suitable for immunoassay, blotting, and histochemistry. This product is for research use only and not to be used in diagnostic procedures.

Human IGF-II polyclonal antibody was prepared by immunising rabbits with a human IGF-II conjugated to ovalbumin. The immunoglobulin fraction was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography. The antibody cross-reacts 100% with human and porcine IGF-II; 96% with chicken IGF-II; 91% with rat IGF-II and 85% with bovine IGF-II. Cross-reactivity to human, chicken and rat IGF-I is < 0.1%. It does not cross react with insulin from a range of species. The antibody is suitable for use in immunoassay, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry.
