The APIS ESR1 qPCR Kit is a highly multiplexed qPCR assay for the sensitive and precise detection (≤0.5% MAF) of mutations within the oestrogen receptor gene from cfDNA or FFPE-extracted gDNA. The ESR1 qPCR Kit is a qualitative test, detecting eleven ESR1 mutations across three hotspot exons: exon 5 (E380Q), exon 7 (S463P) and exon 8 (P535H, L536R, L536Q, L536H, L536P, Y537C, Y537S, Y537N and D538G).
The kit includes 4x mutation-specific probe mixes to enable highly multiplex, sensitive detection of the target mutations. Additionally, it utilises PCR clamp and blocker technology, which ensures specific amplification of the mutant sequence, even in the presence of a high wild-type background. Negative controls, positive controls and reference ESR1 gene amplification provide QC for sample input and PCR amplification.
Compatible with most real-time PCR instruments and can be implemented easily into your current PCR workflows. Provides testing throughput flexibility as 22 samples + controls can be run on a 96-well plate, or supports low throughput testing with enough reagents for up 8x PCR runs.
Kit size: 24 samples plus controls. Specifications 4 X Primer Probe mixes, 2X Enzyme Mixes, Positive Control, No template control (NTC).
The APIS ESR1 qPCR Kit can be run alongside the APIS PIK3CA Mutations Kit on the same plate to utilise sample testing efficiency.
The APIS ESR1 qPCR Kit is available as a Research Use Only (RUO) product. Not applicable for use in diagnostic procedures.
This product is manufactured in United Kingdom by APIS Assay Technologies.
